WELLSVILLE - Wellsville American Legion Post 70 will serve burgers and fries from 5-8 p.m. on today.
EAST LIVERPOOL - Moose Lodge will have bingo Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., early bird 6:30 p.m., and regular, with a 55 and under $1000 coverall, at 7 p.m. A full kitchen menu is available.
EAST LIVERPOOL - The V.F.W. Post 66 will have bingo at 7 p.m. on Friday. The kitchen will open at 6 p.m. with french fries or sweet potato fries and hot dogs for $3.50. Members and guests welcome.
GLENMOOR - The Glenmoor American Legion will have breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon every Sunday at the Glenmoor American Legion. Cost is $3.50 per person.
MIDLAND, Pa. - An Ecumenical Thanksgiving service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Church of the Living God, 343 Beaver Ave. Speaker will be Pastor Susan Pickering of the Midland Ecumenical Church. Free will offering.
EAST LIVERPOOL - The V.F.W. Post 66 located at 212 Blakely St., will be serving breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Sunday. The menu includes omelets $5, regular breakfast, eggs, potatoes, pancake, sausage gravy, ham, sausage, bacon, toast and coffee is $4, and biscuit and gravy is $2. Kids 12 years and under are $2
EAST LIVERPOOL - Catholic Charities Senior Center, 600 E. 4th St., is sponsoring a trip through McCarter Coach Line to view the Christmas lights at Hartwood Acres on Dec. 2. They will have dinner at Hoss's restaurant and drive through downtown Pittsburgh. Bus will leave the Senior Center at 4 p.m. and return time is approximately 9 p.m.
The cost is $24 per person. The meal is not included in the cost. The deadline for payment and reservations is Wednesday, Nov. 25. Call Mary Cunningham or Lisa Rayl at 330-385-4732 to reserve a seat.
EAST LIVERPOOL - Hand fans bearing a photo of Charles Arthur "Pretty Boy" Floyd are available free while supplies last at the Sturgis House Bed and Breakfast. The crowd was so unexpectedly large at a recent open house commemorating the 75th anniversary of Floyd's death that the popular fans had to be re-ordered. Also available for sale at Sturgis are commemorative "Pretty Boy" drinking mugs and ball caps.
