COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL FOR 11-17
In county Municipal Court on Monday, a preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday for a Wellsville man charged with felony drug abuse. Michael Stacy, 19, Independence Square, is accused of having been in possession of one generic aderall tablet. Stacy pleaded not guilty to OVI first offense and possession of drugs; pretrial Monday.
Donald Pitts, 37, Kensington Road, Kensington, pleaded not guilty to OVI second offense, possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and failure to control; pretrial Dec. 21.
Jennifer Mullins, 39, state Route 170, East Palestine, was sentenced to three days in the county jail and three days of traffic school, was fined $730 and had her driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and slow speed.
Daniel Hines, 42, Knox School Road, Homeworth, pleaded not guilty to OVI first offense, possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, open container and lane violations; pretrial Jan. 11.
Thomas Pyatt Jr., 36, County Line Road, Columbiana, pleaded not guilty to aggravated menacing. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial Nov. 24.
Amy Brown, 37, Leetonia Road, Leetonia, was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail and was fined $100 for theft. Brown concealed $40 worth of merchandise on herself at the Salem Wal-Mart and attempted to leave the store without paying for it.
Jonathon Cunning, 18, Youngstown, was sentenced to six days in the county jail and was fined $100 for two counts of theft. A third theft charge against Cunning was dismissed.
Rolanda Grisez, 50, Maple Street, pleaded not guilty to theft. Grisez is accused of stealing from the Lisbon Family Dollar.
Sherman Sanders, 28, Youngstown, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.
Joshua Bable, 29, North Front Street, Negley, was fined $175 for driving under suspension and failure to control.
Brian Spikes, 24, Cusick Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail and was fined $100 for obstructing official business. Spikes gave police a false name and date of birth when they asked him to identify himself.
Peter Penick, 22, Mullins Street, Salem, was sentenced to 11 days in the county jail and was fined $100 for receiving stolen property. Penick sold a stolen canoe to a scrap yard for $17.
A charge of receiving stolen property against Willy Tomb, 26, state Route 170, East Palestine, was dismissed for probable cause.
Tina George, 41, Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded no contest to criminal damaging; sentencing Dec. 21. George punched a hole in a closet door and threw a telephone on the ground.
Daniel McWilliams, 25, Newgarden Avenue, Salem, was fined $110 for driving without a valid license, improper registration and a stop sign violation.
Tammy Orr, 20, Gladys Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for failure to reinstate license, amended from driving without a valid license.
Rusty Altman, 37, Cream Ridge Road, was fined $75 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for open container and failure to comply.
Jason Hartley, 24, Bloomfield Road, East Liverpool, was fined $50 for a miscellaneous wildlife violation. Hartley hunted pheasants before legal hunting hours.
Michael Ziolkowski, 39, Stoneboro, Pa., was fined $50 for a miscellaneous wildlife violation. Ziolkowski hunted pheasants before legal hunting hours.
Charles Vangiesen, 42, Hunter Camp Road, was fined $50 for a miscellaneous wildlife violation. Vangiesen hunted pheasants before legal hunting hours.
A charge of failure to register dogs against Miranda Culver, McCann Road, Kensington, was dismissed.
