COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL FOR 11-15

In county Municipal Court on Friday, a preliminary hearing was set for Thursday for an East Liverpool man charged with felony domestic violence.

Bond was set at $10,000 for Scott Haney, 22, North Shadylane Drive, who is accused of shoving the mother of his children into a door, pulling her outside, trying to run her over with a car and, after she threw a brick at the car in self defense, getting out of the car with a knife and threatening to kill her.

Haney pleaded not guilty to two counts of violating a temporary protection order; pretrial Nov. 19.

Crystal Ross, 24, Newgarden Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had her driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and lighted lights required; review hearing April 6.

Travis Newman, 21, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, was sentenced to three days of traffic school, was fined $750 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and lane violations. A seat belt violation against Newman was dismissed.

Charges of assault and menacing against Tommy Hart, 22, Market Street, were dismissed due to inability to secure witnesses, who are out of the state.

Robert Coleman Jr., 57, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Matthew Stragisher, 46, Woodland Avenue, Salem, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension and improper backing; pretrial Jan. 5.

Carl Wolfe, 79, Louisville, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension and commercial speeding; pretrial Jan. 7.

Roderick Sumlin, 25, Akron, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension and speeding; pretrial Jan. 5.

Nathan Hill Jr., 24, Akron, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension and a seat belt violation; pretrial Dec. 15.

Keith Barkley, 48, Lisbon Street, Leetonia, pleaded not guilty to failure to reinstate license; pretrial Dec. 21.

Lisa Conway, 29, West Seventh Street, Salem, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct; pretrial Dec. 22.

Jacob Morgan, 18, state Route 164, was fined $80 for no operator's license and speeding.

Joseph Lucas, 23, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $50 for Sunday sale of liquor. Lucas is the owner of Joe's Drive Thru, Main Street, Wellsville.

Lisa Clark, 50, Cream Ridge Road, was fined $50 for speeding in a school zone.

Vicki Shacklock, 50, Walnut Street, Rogers, pleaded not guilty to speeding in a school zone; court trial Jan. 11.

Sheryl Parson, 44, Akron, was assessed costs only for speeding.

Nicholas Pisano, 53, Canfield, pleaded not guilty to a stop sign violation; pretrial Dec. 14.

William Van Dyke, state Route 45, Wellsville, was fined $50 for two counts of failure to register dogs.

Shelba Newcomer, 69, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $30 for driving without a valid license.

Jennifer Dawson, 33, Forsyth Place, East Liverpool, was assessed costs only for unsafe vehicle, amended from a stop sign violation.
