COLUMBIANA COUNTY SHERIFF FOR 11-15
Kim Rankin, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, reported Friday her family was receiving harassing calls and text messages from a Youngstown woman, who was contacted by a deputy and told to cease this behavior or she would be charged.
Dwayne Rupert, Peace Valley Road, New Waterford, reported Oct. 1 several air tools, hand tools, welder and air compressor were stolen from his open garage.
A deputy serving an arrest warrant on Rusty Altman went to the home of Crystal Shaffer, Center Avenue, Lisbon, at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. Altman was standing by a vehicle when the deputy pulled in but took off running after being told there was a warrant for him. The deputies caught up with Altman after about 10 minutes and charged him with failure to comply with a police order to halt.
Richard Lowe, Applegate Road, Madison Township, reported Wednesday the doors on his shed were damaged as if they had been rammed, but nothing appeared to be missing.
Ron Raga, Buck Road, Beloit, report Friday his unlocked pickup truck was was entered and his crossbow and arrows were stolen. A car was also entered and change was stolen from the console.
A deputy was called to the home of Jennifer Grimm, state Route 39, Wellsville, at 5:22 p.m. Thursday to serve an arrest warrant on Scott Haney, 22, of East Liverpool. Grimm also had a protection order against Haney, who was also charged with violating a protection order.
Richard Berg of Youngstown owns property on Pancake-Clarkson Road, Middleton Township. Berg reported Thursday someone tried to break into the garage on the property, breaking the door handle in the process, but they were unable to get inside.
Ray Fox, South Front Street, Negley, reported a battery charger, hand tools and an aluminum rim and tire stolen from his vehicle. Fox reported it appeared someone also tried unsuccessfully to enter his garage at the same time.
Thomas Hendricks, Buck Road, Salem, reported change and prescription sunglasses valued at $150 taken from his vehicle.
Diane Howard, Failer Road, East Palestine, reported a possible domestic dispute, but when deputies arrived, all parties involved had left.
