Columbiana County Sheriff for 11-14

A Winona man on Winona Road reported at 11:21 a.m. Thursday that sometime after 8:30 a.m., someone removed and damaged three spark plug wires from his pickup while it was parked at his residence.

A Wellsville resident on Mercury Drive reported hearing voices outside at 1:44 a.m. Thursday. Deputies checked the area around the residence and found no one.

An East Rochester man on Rochester Road reported at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday that he recovered his stolen bicycle and the parents of the juvenile boy he caught with the bicycle said they would reimburse him for the damages. He hadn't reported the bicycle stolen. He saw the boy with the bike, which had been painted a different color. The parents said they would make the boy pay them back through chores at home.

A caller at 4:09 a.m. Wednesday reported removing a trash container and two Christmas ornaments from the roadway on Yeager Drive near state Route 267.

An official at the Buck Run Golf Course, Buck Road, Salem, reported Friday a golf cart was stolen overnight and later found on Buck Road.

Jay Horowitz, Buck Road, Salem, reported Friday his unlocked vehicle was entered overnight and his GPS device was stolen.

Robin Parks, Haessley Road, Hanoverton, reported Friday her neighbor's goats were loose again and on her property. The deputy intends to contact the neighbors when they are home.
