FRANKFORT SPRINGS, Pa. - Chester native, author Alice Ann Whitehill, will be holding a signing of her book "In Tune With Spirits" from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Frankfort Springs Grange Holiday Craft Show. The book contains stories of local hauntings, including the authors own experiences with ghost of Esther Hale of Sprucevale fame.

The Grange hall is located on state Route 18 four miles north of U.S. 22 and eight miles south of U.S. Rt. 30 by way of state Route 168 in the village of Frankfort Springs, Pa.

WELLSVILLE - The friends of the Wellsville Carnegie Public Library are holding a fundraiser during the months of November and December. Tickets for the raffle are on sale now and will be sold until Dec. 19. Ticket prices are six tickets for $5 or one ticket for $1. Tickets can be purchased from friends, members, or at the library. The prizes are a movie basket (includes six DVD's, candy and popcorn), a Christmas wreath, and a football basket (includes nine games in all - Monopoly, Uno, Checkers and more.) All of the prizes were donated and are on display at the library. A prize winner will be drawn every Saturday in December until Christmas.
