East Liverpool Police Reports for 11-13

POSTED: November 13, 2009

On Thursday at 2:17 a.m., Donald L. Hildebrand, 65, advised that someone threw a rock through the side window of his van while it was parked in the lot outside of the Potters Club along West Sixth Street.

On Thursday at 4:51 a.m., Tawnia A. Jenkins, 39, was issued a summons following a traffic stop. An officer initiated the stop at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Mulberry Street. Jenkins was driving the vehicle, and she had an outstanding summons to appear in court for failure to obtain liability insurance for a vicious dog, according to the report. Jenkins went to the police department where she was served with the summons.

On Thursday at 5:07 a.m., Danielle D. Sheetz, 35, reported picking up a hitchhiker several hours earlier on Seventh Street because she thought she knew him because of his last name being Kent. The male, Matthew Kent, said he needed a ride to Lincoln Avenue, according to the report. He asked Sheetz for a cigarette, and the cigarette she handed him contained her Ohio child support card and $100 cash wrapped around the pack. When he returned the pack to her, the money and card were missing she told officers. She did not realize the items were missing until later. Kent dropped his identification card in the car before exiting.
