NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Judy A. Sims, 57, of Maryville, Tenn., was called into heaven on Wednesday morning, Nov. 11, 2009, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after a three year battle with liver and kidney disease.

A native of Chester, Judy was born on Feb. 12, 1952, daughter of the late Edwin and Caroline McHenry.

She graduated from Oak Glen High School and had worked in the accounting department of Hancock County Savings Bank.

A devoted wife of 39 years and beloved mother of three, Judy is survived by her husband, Ralph Alan Sims; children Alan Sims of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada, Rachel Vultaggio, of Atlanta, Ga., and Patrick Sims of Germany; and seven grandchildren, Aidan, Kiera, Keely, Sophie, Gavin and Olivia. Judy is also survived by her sister, Barbara Van Camp, of Rock Hill, S.C.

Although we have lost our incredible wife and mother, her love is undying and unstoppable.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon on Monday, officiated by the Rev. Trina Lewis of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery.

No visitation will held Sunday and friends may send online condolences to: arnerfc@arnerfuneralchapel.com
