Columbiana County Sheriff for 11-11

Dustin Linder, Hartley Road, Beloit, reported Friday that two motor vehicles parked in their driveway were entered overnight and items stolen. One of the vehicles was locked at the time.

A deputy was called to the scene of a fire on Cannons Mill Road, Madison Township, at 2:44 p.m. Saturday, where West Point Fire Chief Wayne Chamberlain reported the property owner was giving him a hard time and had even chased him around with a stick. The deputy remained and there were no further problems.

Toni Miller, Rochester Road, East Rochester, reported Thursday that her home was broken into during the day through the side door. The bedroom was ransacked but nothing appeared to be missing.

A report was received of a large and loud party on West Terrace Drive, Wellsville, at 9 p.m. Saturday. When the group saw the deputy approaching they jumped in their motor vehicles and fled.

A Beloit woman on Lake Street reported at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday that she found all four tires on her van flat and a piece of pipe or metal sticking in her radiator. All four tires were sliced.

A Lisbon man on DeSellem Road reported at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday that someone tore down his advertisement sign at the corner of Applegate Road. He said other signs were also torn down.

Eugene Beaver, 45, of Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine, was charged with criminal damaging, with possible domestic violence charges being reviewed by the prosecutor, after deputies responded to a domestic dispute at his residence. A woman reported at 11:47 p.m. Monday that they had an argument and he made threats to burn down their trailer, then began breaking windows and furniture and shoved her and her adult daughter. He also broke her car window.
