EAST LIVERPOOL - Genevieve R. Dunn, 90, formerly of St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Trinity Medical Center, West, in Steubenville. She was born in East Liverpool on Dec. 22, 1918, and was the daughter of the late William F. and Mary Alice (Weaver) Hutchison.
Living her entire life in the area, Mrs. Dunn retired in 1986 from Hall China Company where she was a foreman and a decorator. She belonged to the Triangle Senior Citizens, Grace Chambers Service Group and The Eastern Star Crystal Chapter No. 18. She also was a member of Boyce United Methodist Church and had attended Calcutta United Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul S. Beck, in 1973, whom she married in 1942. Her second husband, Robert I. Dunn, died in 2002, they were married in 1989.
One daughter, Sherrie L. French and her husband, Donald of Wellsville; one stepson, Robert I. Dunn and his wife, Nancy of East Liverpool; and two step-granddaughters, Linda Ruth Dunn and Tammie Lynn Green survive her.
Besides her parents and husbands, one brother: Earl W. Hutchison and three sisters: Olive M. Baker, Doris L. Sisler and Elaine McDonald preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with the Rev. Richard Hasley of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz, Ohio, officiating.
Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the funeral home in Calcutta.
