NEW CUMBERLAND - The Hancock Senior Complex located on Gas Valley Road will hold a jam night beginning at 6 p.m. today. Pizza and goodies will be offered. You may make a donation at the door and for coffee as you see fit.

LISBON - The Medication Assistance Program will be at the First United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. to noon today. Bring all prescription bottles. Help is also available for those with Medicare Part D problems. For more information call 330-424-7877.

NEWELL - The Newell Americal Legion will have a regular meeting at 7 p.m. today.

NEWELL - The Sons of the Newell American Legion will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

NEWELL - The Newell American Legion Auxiliary Unit #114 will meet at 6 p.m. on Friday.

NEW CUMBERLAND - Appalachian folk music club meets at 6 p.m. every Tuesday at the Hancock Senior Complex on Gas Valley Road next to Oak Glen High School. If you play an instrument, you are welcome to join in the playing.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Korean War veterans need some new members. Any veteran that served in Korea from 1950-53 automatically can be a member. Those that served from 53 to present in Korea at least 30 days can join as a war veteran because a treaty was never signed it was just a cease fire. CHESTER - An educational seminar for area senior citizens concerned with Medicare Part D and other issues associated with Medicare will take place 11:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at The Orchards at Foxcrests' in the The Peachtree Inn dining room.
