East Liverpool Police Reports for 11-3

On Thursday at 10:43 a.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 235 Maine Blvd. A female told officers Jim Perl was intoxicated and allegedly hit one of her children.

On Thursday at 12:08 p.m., employees with Smith Oil gas station along St. Clair Avenue reported a white, female driver left in a tan Chevy Blazer without paying for $25.05 in gasoline.

On Thursday at 12:08 p.m. Dennis J. Cowser, 51, of 2147 Ohio Ave. reported someone threw eggs at his vehicle while it was parked along Ohio Avenue.

On Thursday at 12:25 p.m., officers took a vandalism report. Rodger Singleton reported seeing two suspects in a gold Cavalier near 1055 Rubicon St. Erika R. Ashby, 24, reported her vehicle was vandalized. The suspects scratched both side of the vehicle, attempted to pour anti-freeze in the gas tank and broke the passenger side mirror. Ashby was advised to see the Law Director for charges because there was a witness.

On Friday at 6:58 p.m., Kandy Baskerville reported that someone loosened the lug nuts on the front wheels of her 1992 Thunderbird while it was parked at 657 Lincoln Ave.

On Saturday at 10:58 a.m., a female called the police department and reported that a male approached her juvenile daughter asking for sexual favors. The mother said her daughter was walking on West Ninth Street near Walker Way when the male, driving a black-colored vehicle, drove by four times. On the fourth time, the male made the request for sexual activity, according to the report. The juvenile left the area, went home and told her mother. The juvenile described the male as having a red goatee about three inches long and wearing a tan shirt, baseball cap and was heavy set. Officers were not able to locate a suspect or the vehicle.

On Sunday at 3:07 a.m., officers found Robert Douglas along Baum Street yelling toward another house. Douglas stated he wanted his bag of clothing. His items were brought to him, and he left the area, according to the report.

On Sunday at 6:53 p.m., officers arrived at the downtown Giant Eagle along Bradshaw Avenue after a customer complained a white male was outside the store asking if anyone wanted to buy any drugs. Officers detained a male juvenile matching that description. The juvenile had some loose pills in his pocket that ended up being over-the-counter cold medication. Witnesses were questioned along with the juvenile. The juvenile was eventually taken to the police department and later released. The pills were taken as evidence.

On Monday at 6:49 a.m., Authur Keyser of 464 First Ave., called police and requested an officer remove Wanda Gregory from the residence. Officer went to the scene, removed Gregory and transported her to St. Clair Avenue.

On Monday at 10:27 a.m., officers went to a St. George Street home after receiving information from Children Services in reference to possible child abuse. An investigation is pending.

On Monday at 11:14 a.m., Bruce Tatgenhorst, of 802 Park Blvd., called the police station and reported that at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, he had to remove a dog from his pool. He stated after removing the dog, the pool started to lose water. He contacted the dog warden to see who owned the dog based on the tag information.

On Monday at 11:36 a.m., Steven K. Miller, 24, told officers that he was attempting to return some items to his ex-girlfriend at her McKinnon Avenue home when she started attacking him and struck him above the right eye causing a cut. He told officers he left her home and called to police for a report. At approximately 2:30 p.m. Monday, Britney Page called the police department wanting to report Miller having kicked in the back door of her mother's home.

On Monday at 3:45 p.m., Joseph D. Mason, 25, was arrested for criminal trespass. Mason was on the Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority no-trespass list and was seen by an officer on CMHA property along Wilbert Avenue. The officer chased Mason toward Haywood Street. Another officer spotted the suspect and took him into custody.
