HIGHWAY PATROL FOR 11-2
Aaron N. Francis, 23, Huston Road, East Liverpool, was cited for failure to control after he went off the road, striking a utility pole and traffic sign, while driving a car on state Route 154 in Middleton Township at 10:15 a.m. Thursday. Francis was uninjured.
Bernard Rakowski, 73, of Clinton, Pa., was cited for failure to stop in an assured cleared distance after he struck a turning car driven by Donnetta S. Lockhart, 24, Garfield Street, East Liverpool. The accident occurred at the intersection of state Route 7 and Sprucevale Road in Rogers at 8:35 a.m. Friday.
Suzanne Buchanan, 61, 212 High St., Leetonia, was westbound on state Route 344 in Salem Township when she struck a deer at 8:45 a.m. Monday. The Ohio Department of Transportation was notified to dispose of the animal.
Timothy Jett, 56, Akron, was cited with operating without reasonable control at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, when he was eastbound on state Route 518 in a semi truck and began the turn onto state Route 164. He overturned and spilled a load of hot tar. Jett was transported by Lifeteam Ambulance to East Liverpool City Hospital.
