COMMON PLEAS FOR 11-2
In Common Pleas Court, a new pretrial date has been set for 1 p.m. Nov. 30 for Matthew Steiner, 37, and his wife, Christy Steiner, 31, both of Atwater, to give their new attorney, Fred Naragon, time to study their case. The former East Liverpool husband and wife were accused of running a meth lab in their home in February and appeared in court Friday.
They pleaded innocent last month to single counts of illegal manufacture of drugs, a first-degree felony, and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a second-degree felony. They could face up to 18 years in prison if convicted.
