A Rochester woman reported at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday that she left her truck for sale at George's Auto in East Rochester, returned a week later to move it and discovered someone had removed the plates. She was told to contact the Department of Motor Vehicles.
An East Liverpool man on Dunns Road reported at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday that a woman has been calling his residence every 10 to 15 minutes for the past couple of days, with the calls coming from a blocked number. He was told a deputy will call her if he gets the telephone number.
Deputies responded at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday to a Hazel Run Road, Salineville residence where a woman reported her boyfriend and another man had an argument and the man has been driving up and down the road past her residence at a high rate of speed. She also said he threw a cup in her yard and yelled something.
A Lisbon woman on state Route 172 reported at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday that she received her bank statement and found that someone accessed her account. An electronic transfer was made from her account on Oct. 22 to Diversified Marketing Global without her consent.
A Beloit woman on South 12th Street reported at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday that someone has been coming to her residence in the middle of the night and beating on the windows and doors. She installed some flood lights and someone busted out two spot lights Tuesday night.
A Wellsville woman on Fife Coal Road reported at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday that she felt the contractor installing water lines on Fife Coal Road was exceeding the right-of-way on her property and came very close to driving over her septic tanks. She wanted a report on file in case there's anything wrong with her septic system in the future.
A Lisbon woman on Bittner Road reported at 6:56 a.m. Wednesday that someone removed the tailgate from her husband's 1996 Ford F250 pickup while it was parked in the driveway.
A Lisbon man on County Airport Road reported at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday that someone entered his detached garage and stole several hand tools, two chainsaws, 10 pipe wrenches, a battery charger, several flashlights, a chop saw and $200.
A Salem man on Yates Road reported at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday that he and his live-in companion had an argument and she slapped him. She claimed he shoved her. Both refused to prosecute.
A Rogers woman reported at 5:49 p.m. Monday that her husband and daughter were walking on their state Route 154 property and found what appeared to be a safe. A deputy responded and determined the item was a locking file cabinet. When he looked inside, he found ledgers from the Assembly of God Church in Rogers, which reported a break-in on July 11.
The owners of Glasgow Carryout, state Route 45, Wellsville, reported Oct. 21 that they confronted an employee about voided sales and registers coming up short and she allegedly admitted to doing the voids, taking the money and using it to buy lottery tickets because she's addicted to them. She allegedly told them she planned to put the money back, but never did and two weeks went by, then months. After reviewing register tapes, they determined the voids started in May, with evidence showing the voids, but no sales to match up to them. The employee was fired, but claimed she would get a loan to pay back the estimated $3,000 determined missing.
