Columbiana County Municipal for 10-30
In county Municipal Court on Thursday, a Boardman man was fined $200 for permitting drug abuse.
A felony charge of possession of controlled substances against Nicholas Matthews, 20, was dismissed as part of the plea deal involving the permitting drug abuse charge.
Corey Sims, 25, West 14th Street, Salem, pleaded not guilty to OVI second offense, failure to reinstate license and marked lanes. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial Dec. 14.
James Vitucci, 41, Mineral Ridge, pleaded not guilty to OVI first offense and reckless operation; pretrial Nov. 23.
Fred Moore, 31, North Avenue, pleaded not guilty to OVI first offense and failure to control; pretrial Dec. 17.
Two charges of domestic violence against William Strabala, 41, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, were dismissed due to unavailability of the alleged victims.
Arnell Mendoza, 31, Lincoln Avenue, Salem, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial Nov. 5. Mendoza is accused of striking his girlfriend three times with his forehead.
Chad Saunders, 30, Crestview Road, Columbiana, was fined $225 for driving without a valid license, amended from driving under suspension; disorderly conduct, amended from assault, and lane violations.
Fred Biser, 36, Heck Road, New Waterford, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence.
Jashua Metzgar, 30, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $100 for criminal mischief. Metzgar destroyed a mailbox on state Route 9, Perry Township.
Wendy Morgan, 34, West Maple Street, pleaded not guilty to obstructing official business and disorderly conduct; pretrial Dec. 1.
David Sheeley, 18, Franklin Road, Salem, pleaded not guilty to reckless operation, use of unauthorized plate and a stop sign violation; court trial Dec. 7.
Deanna Chuey, 32, Wayne Bridge Road, was fined $100 for passing bad checks.
John Berkheimer, 35, Wayne Bridge Road, was fined $100 for passing bad checks.
Kelly Eaton, 52, Poland Street, New Springfield, was fined $100 for speeding.
Matthew Delnoce, 28, Rittman, pleaded not guilty to speeding; pretrial Nov. 30.
Marcus Baskin, 31, Harper Woods, Mich., was fined $25 for unsafe vehicle, amended from speeding.
