EAST LIVERPOOL - Elks Lodge 258 will have stag night 7 p.m. today.
CALCUTTA - The Parkinson Support Group of Calcutta will be hosting Dr. Bruce Jeffries, O.D. as guest speaker of its monthly meeting 6:30 p.m. Monday at Calcutta Christian Church on Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road.
Jeffries is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Optometry with additional residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation/Ocular Disease. He is currently employed at Eyecare Associates.
Jeffries will be addressing vision issues in relation to Parkinson Disease. After his presentation there will be a question and answer period. Anyone suffering from Parkinson disease and family and friends are invited to attend.
The Support Group meets at Calcutta Christian Church on Calcutta-Smith ferry Road. The church is fully handicap accessible and transportation is available. To arrange transportation or for more information about the support group call 330-532-1123.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool Motor Lodge is hosting a pasta dinner 4-7 p.m. Monday to benefit the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center. Cost of the dinner is $7.50 per person and includes pasta, three meatballs, salad, rolls and beverage. Takeout available. There will be a 50-50 raffle and a bake sale. EAST LIVERPOOL - AARP Driver Safety Program is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday at the East Liverpool Carnegie Library. This two-session program designed especially for motorists age 50-older. It covers such subjects as defensive driving techniques, age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Participants may qualify for a discount with auto insurance. COLUMBIANA - The Tri-County Chapter of Medical Assistants will hold its monthly meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at Prima HealthCare, 107 Royal Bickdale Drive. The speaker is Steven M. DeMaiolo, D.O., CEO, discussing electronic medical records in the outpatient setting.

NEW WATERFORD - The United Methodist Women of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church (located at 45675 state Route 558) will hold its annual bazaar and rummage sale 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The bazaar will feature homemade candy, baked goods, homemade soup, apple dumplings, books and a rummage sale. A soup and sandwich luncheon will be served 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The "Fantastic Four" Youth Group, with members from Emmanuel, Long's Run and Trinity Presbyterian churches and St. John Lutheran Evangelical Church, will meet 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Long's Run Presbyterian Church, 15851 Longs Church Rd., Calcutta.
CALCUTTA - The Columbiana County Red Cross, in conjunction with the Alleghenies Blood Service Region, will conduct the following blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Calcutta YMCA in the gym. EAST LIVERPOOL - Ohio Valley Tea Party, Columbiana County Tea Party and Pink Slip Express will conduct the first "rally to give notice of termination to our elected officials" at 6 p.m. Monday at East Liverpool Middle School. Speakers will cover topics including, estate "death" tax, health care reform, the Constitution and the national "Tea Party Patriot" movement. There will be question and answer periods and an open mic forum.
EAST LIVERPOOL - Moose Lodge will have bingo Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., early bird 6:30 p.m., and regular, with a 55 and under $1,000 coverall, at 7 p.m. A full kitchen menu is available.
EAST LIVERPOOL - The VFW Post 66 will begin having breakfast again starting Sunday. The menu includes eggs, pancakes, homefries, sausage gravy, bacon, ham and sausage. Cost is $4.
NEW CUMBERLAND - The first meeting of Hancock County's Pre-k Collaborative Team is Friday. Day care, preschool and early childhood agencies located in Hancock County that service four-year children may participate in development of Hancock County's WV Pre-k Plan for the 2010-11 school year.
