Wellsville Police Report for 10-28
Richard Murphy, 28, 6th Street, was charged with theft after Tony Cataldo reported his son's cell phone missing at Tony's Place. The phone was reportedly found in Murphy's possession in his car after the younger Cataldo dialed his phone and went around listening to cars outside the bar until he heard it ringing.
Elizabeth McCauley, 35, Clark Avenue, was charged with theft after Kristy Lewis reported two unauthorized withdrawals from her bank account which were allegedly used by McCauley to purchase additional minutes for her cell phone.
Three men were charged with public intoxication after an off-duty sheriff's deputy reported at 1:17 a.m. Friday seeing six men running from behind Roberts Funeral Home. The deputy located one of the men in Cedar Alley, while village officers found two others. Charged were Zakary Ollis, Corey Blankenship and Jason Adkins, whose ages and addresses were not reported. They were charged and released.
Officers were called to a Highland Avenue residence for a domestic situation and reported finding Dave Howard and Tonya Pickens arguing, unable to get along due to drinking. Pickens agreed to have her daughter pick her up so she could leave for the night.
Called to Lincoln Avenue to remove someone from a residence, officers took Melanie Elverd, Toronto, into custody on an outstanding warrant.
