Columbiana County Municipal for 10-27
In county Municipal Court on Monday, a Hartley Road, Salem, man was placed on $50,000 bond on a charge of burglary.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 3 for Geoffrey Cody, 24, who is accused of taking more than $15,000 worth of jewelry from a Woodale Road, Hanoverton, home and pawning it in Youngstown.
Lindsay Miller, 23, West High Street, was bound over to grand jury on a charge of burglary. Miller is accused of breaking into a state Route 517 residence and stealing items.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 2 for Anthony Mascarella, 21, Youngstown, on a charge of possession of drugs. Bond was set at $50,000. Mascarella is accused of being in possession of crack cocaine at a Salem apartment and telling the tennant not to let police check the apartment.
Mascarella pleaded not guilty to obstructing official business; pretrial Nov. 2.
Lynette Thomas-Klaas, 36, French Street, Damascus, pleaded not guilty to OVI third offense and marked lanes; pretrial Dec. 10.
Mark Hoops, 43, Goshen Road, Salem, was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and left of center; review hearing March 16.
Nora Crystal, 39, Hubbard, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle, amended from speeding.
Andrew Miller, 19, East Chestnut Street, was fined $30 for unsafe vehicle, amended from speeding.
Stephen Yeagley, 22, Sebring, pleaded not guilty to theft; pretrial Dec. 29. Yeagley is accused of stealing two 30-packs of Busch beer from Circle K on East State Street, Salem.
Joshua Middleton, 26, Beloit, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension, use of unauthorized plate and drug paraphernalia; pretrial Dec. 10.
Jill Johns, 57, Struthers, pleaded not guilty to obstructing official business; pretrial Oct. 29. Johns is accused of refusing to provide Columbiana police with her name or identification when they responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Albright Avenue.
Christopher Swinehart, Union Avenue, Minerva, was fined $75 on two hunting violations.
Alec Shatzer, Ellsworth Drive, Minerva, was fined $50 for a hunting violation.
James Phillips, 47, South Union Avenue, Salem, was assessed costs only for no operator's license, amended from driving under suspension, and improper registration.
Melody Barrett, 58, Plymouth Street, Hanoverton, was assessed costs only for disorderly conduct, amended from intimidation.
