Columbiana County Sheriff for 10-10
Alan Wilcox, Grant Street, Lisbon, called for a deputy at 6:33 p.m. Sunday after several neighborhood children cut through his yard and he wanted them to be arrested for trespassing. The deputy told the four children to use the alley next time instead of his yard.
Brad Cutlip, Cusick Road, Madison Township, called a deputy to his home at 5:12 p.m. Saturday because he wanted his girlfriend to leave because they were arguing. The girlfriend said she would leave if she had a ride to her grandmother's house, so the deputy transported her and her children.
A burned vehicle was found off Hazel Run Road, Salineville, about noon Sunday. The owner, Jeff Taylor, was contacted and he said he had been four-wheel riding on the property two days before and became stuck in the mud. Taylor said he would make arrangements to have it towed.
A complaint was received of ATV riders on Buckeye Mining property off state Route 45, Madison Township, on Sunday afternoon. The deputy didn't see any ATV riders but would need a four-wheel vehicle to travel the property because of the terrain.
Stan Cunningham, Forbes Road, Wellsville, reported Sunday a pressure washer was stolen from next to his porch.
An officer was called to Maryland Refractory, Bolivar Road, Yellow Creek Township, at 1:53 p.m. Monday, where an official reported scrap has been turning up missing for the past several months.
Leroy McLaughlin, state Route 7, Elkrun Township, reported Tuesday a Lincoln welder was stolen from his unlocked garage.
Melody Dewitt, Lusk Lock Road, Elkton, reported her security alarm had gone off Monday and she discovered the following items missing: two rings, necklace, jug filled with change and a piggy bank
A home in the 26000 block of U.S. Route 62, Beloit, was broken into Monday, and cash and a ring were missing.
Pat Compon, state Route 14, East Palestine, reported someone tried to break into his home between 9 and 11 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was called to a home on Township Line Road, Wellsville, at 12:16 p.m Monday, where a woman reported her husband and she were arguing over food stamps and he ordered her to leave.
Stan Cunningham, Fife Coal Road, Wellsville, reported Monday a homemade tandem trailer was stolen from his property.
Lori Duck, Sines Road, Yellow Creek Township, reported while she was getting ready for work at 3:43 a.m. Wednesday she discovered the kitchen window was open and the deadbolt on the sliding-glass door was unlocked, but nothing appeared to be missing from the house.
Jessica Bostian, Riffle Road, Middleton Township, reported Tuesday she noticed some items missing from her home.
An Alliance woman on Hartley Road reported at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday that she came home and found someone had broken into the residence and stolen two flat screen televisions and jewelry.
An East Palestine man on Raley Road reported at 2:16 p.m. Monday that he and his wife had an argument and she shoved him. She told deputies that he shoved her during the argument. Both parties agreed not to prosecute. He agreed to stay at his parents' residence until she leaves. She wanted to move out.
