The Review

The following cases were addressed in Hancock County Magistrate Court:

Barbara Livingston of School Street in Weirton - permitting dog to run at large, fined $50 plus $159.50 in court costs.

Timothy Gilbert of Highland Avenue in New Cumberland - failure to obey a train signal, fined $100 plus $184.50 in court costs.

Aaron Conway of South 12th Street in Weirton - possession of a controlled substance, placed on six months probation and assessed $159.53 in court costs; no violations and all fees paid in full, case dismissed; also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, case dismissed.

David Kempf of Hilltop Drive in Bulger, Pa. - public intoxication, fined $100 plus $159.50 in court costs.

Amy Greathouse, no street given, of New Manchester - two counts of possession of a controlled substance, sentenced to 90 days in jail for each count, to be served concurrently, assessed $184.50 and $159.50 in court costs.

Christina Penn of Ohio Avenue in East Liverpool - DUI, sentenced to six days in jail suspended for six months probation, fined $250 plus $264.50 in court costs.

Victor Dinino of Karen Way in Weirton - violation of protective order, sentenced to 10 days in jail, fined $250 plus $159.50 in court costs; also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, sentenced to 10 days in jail to be served concurrently with other case, assessed $159.50 in court costs; also charged with public intoxication, fined $50 plus $159.50 in court costs.

Michael Yost of Murray Road in New Cumberland - public intoxication, fined $25 plus $184.50 in court costs; also charged with disorderly conduct, fined $25 plus $159.50 in court costs.

Ronald A. Mayhew of Bishop Drive in New Cumberland - possession of a controlled substance, placed on six months probation, assessed $184.50 in court costs; no violations and all fees paid in full, case dismissed.

Donald Shaw, Jr., of U.S. Route 30 in Hookstown, Pa. - failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, fined $50 plus $184.50 in court costs.

Charles Ross of River Road in Canal Fulton, Ohio - disorderly conduct, fined $10 plus $184.50 in court costs; also charged with petit larceny, case dismissed.

Valentine Brkich of First Street in Beaver, Pa. - left of center, fined $50 plus $184.50 in court costs.

James Caparuolo of Smithsferry Road in Midland, Pa. - possession of a controlled substance, placed on six months probation and assessed $184.50 in court costs; no violations and all fees paid in full, case dismissed.

Steven Osbourne of Coventry Lane in Chester - possession of a controlled substance, placed on six months probation and assessed $184.50 in court costs; no violations and all fees paid in full, case dismissed.

Shawn Underwood of Palm Lane in Chester - domestic battery, sentenced to six months in jail suspended for 180 days home confinement and assessed $184.50 in court costs; also charged with driving while license suspended for DUI, sentenced to six months in jail suspended for 180 days home confinement to be served concurrently, fined $100 plus $159.50 in court costs; also charged with violation of a protective order, sentenced to six months in jail suspended for 180 days home confinement to be served concurrently, fined $250 plus $159.50 in court costs.

Shaka Jeter of Weir Avenue in Weirton - intimidation of a state witness and domestic battery, both cases dismissed.

Victor York of West Fourth Street in East Liverpool - DUI reduced to reckless driving, fined $500 plus $184.50 in court costs.

James V. Elliott of Beechwood Street in East Liverpool - DUI, sentenced to 10 days in jail converted to 80 hours community service, fined $250 plus $289.50 in court costs; also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, case dismissed.

Keirra E. Abercrombie of May Street in East Liverpool - DUI, sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for six months probation, fined $250 plus $289.50 in court costs.

Maurice S. Purdy of Florida Street in Wheeling - possession of a controlled substance, fined $250 plus $279.50 in court costs.
