Brock Powell, 31, 10657 Green St., East Rochester, was southbound on state Route 644 in Franklin Township at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday when he struck a deer crossing the road.

Bradley Johnson, 48, 3767 Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was cited with driving without reasonable control and OVI at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday after the vehicle he was driving on a curve westbound on Pine Hollow Road in Elkrun Township went off the right side of the road striking a mailbox and then off the left side striking a tree. The vehicle came to rest on a well head. Johnson was listed with minor injuries, but he refused medical treatment.

Rhonda Walker, 40, 119 W. High St., Unit 3, Lisbon, was northbound on state Route 7 in St. Clair Township in a vehicle owned by East Liverpool City Hospital at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday when she struck a raccoon crossing the road.

Rafiq Lateef, 32, Youngstown, was northbound on state Route 11 in Fairfield Township at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday when he struck another vehicle northbound in front of him driven by Vicki Cowan, 54, 1269 Maple St., Salem. Lateef was cited with assured clear distance. No injuries were reported.
