HIGHWAY PATROL FOR 9-20

POSTED: September 20, 2009

Christopher L. Meyer, 19, Andover Road, East Rochester, was charged with failure to control after he reportedly nearly struck a vehicle driven by Judy L. Milligan, 66, Liberty Church Road, Minerva, on Lippincott Road. According to reports, Meyer was northbound when he tried to stop at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 but had defective brakes, causing his vehicle to slide. Milligan, eastbound on Route 30, swerved to avoid a collision and ran into some guardrails.

Bryan L. Schriner, 45, East End Road, Salineville, was charged with assured clear distance after reportedly striking the rear of a vehicle driven by June K. Donaldson, 58, West Main Street, Salineville, while both were eastbound on state Route 39. According to reports, Donaldson had slowed to pull right into a pull-off when her vehicle was struck, after which Schriner's vehicle went left of center and struck westbound vehicles driven by Craig S. Yanni, 57, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, and Kaylyn J. Manley, 19, Monroeville Heights, Salineville.
