Columbiana County Municipal for 9-12
In county Municipal Court on Thursday, two men were placed on $25,000 bond each on one felony charge each of breaking and entering.
Stephen Hogan, 39, Youngstown, and Philip Zell, 48, Youngstown, are accused of entering the Vittle Village, New Waterford, after store hours, taking several items and being in possesion of several cartons of stolen cigarettes; preliminary hearing Tuesday.
Jessica Boyd, 28, Steubenville Pike, was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail, was fined $1,125 and had her driver's license suspended for one year for OVI second offense and driving under suspension; video review hearing Oct. 13.
Andrew Schwander, 21, Swanton, was sentenced to three days of traffic school, was fined $675 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and left of center.
Scott Rudder, 45, South Walnut Street, Salem, was sentenced to eight days in the county jail and was fined $100 for criminal damaging and criminal trespassing. Rudder entered a residence through a back door while two people were home and kicked at the window of a Salem patrol vehicle while he was inside it, bending the door frame.
Maureen Aratari, 46, Walnut Street, Leetonia, pleaded not guilty to arson; pretrial Oct. 27. Aratari is accused of pouring gasoline onto a 1989 Honda vehicle on July 28 in Leetonia and lighting it with a match without permission.
Dorothy Kirkbridge, 36, Chester, W.Va., was sentenced to three days in the county jail, was fined $300 and had her driver's license suspended for six months for driving under suspension and speeding.
Jerriel Harrison, 24, Main Street, Wellsville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence; pretrial Sept. 15. Harrison is accused of breaking his girlfriend's nose and taking her cell phone.
Robert Halfhill Jr., 27, East Main Street, New Waterford, pleaded not guilty to two counts of theft and one count each of receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Halfhill is accused of stealing cases of beer from Vittle Village, New Waterford, and Sparkle, East Palestine, and being in possession of two change purses and a checkbook belonging to a woman.
Gary Cooley, 38, Columbia Street, Leetonia, pleaded not guilty to inducing panic and disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated; pretrial Tuesday. Cooley is accused of swinging a sword at a trash can while intoxicated.
Jarrell Washington, 20, Youngstown, was fined $300 for driving under suspension and failure to control.
Ross Licata, 44, Akron, pleaded not guilty to reckless operation and speeding; pretrial Oct. 13.
Michael Rohrer, 56, Ridge Street, Leetonia, was fined $250 for driving without a valid license, amended from failure to reinstate license, and a registration violation.
Christina Hooker, 31, West Washington Street, was fined $200 for noxious odors.
Virginia Daley, 37, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $200 for speeding.
Brian Ketchum, 43, Laughlin Road, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct.
Matthew Juillerat, 18, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $150 for underage consumption
Liane Ferrese, New Castle, Pa., was fined $100 for prohibitions - tattooing/body piercing. Ferrese, the owner of Impressions of Expressions, New Castle, Pa., is employed by the county health district and was operating the business without approval of the Board of Health.
Lucas Fitch, 30, Hunter Camp Road, was fined $100 for driving without a valid license. A charge of expired registration against Fitch was dismissed.
Ronald Potts, 52, Speidel Road, Hanoverton, was fined $50 for prohibition against violations of board. Potts dumped and burned tires on a property.
Sheel Mahnot, 27, Murrysville, Pa., was assessed costs only for speeding.
