WELLSVILLE - Michelle L. Maruca, 34, of state Route 39, died early Sunday morning at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born Nov. 8, 1974, a daughter of the late Emma Jean Bowen Baker and Dennis G. Baker.

Michelle graduated from Southern Local High School and was a licensed nurse's aide (STNA). She was a loving mother and wife, loved her cats and dogs and even had groundhogs that she named and fed.

Michelle will be sadly missed by her husband, Andrew R. Maruca of Wellsville; her father, Dennis Baker of Wellsville; two daughters, Alexandra G. Smith of Hanoverton, and Casey Rae Howdershelt of Wellsville; two brothers, Michael Baker of Mechanicstown, and Roger Baker of Wellsville; one sister, Regina Lawn of North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Delcia Pettibone of Newark, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Irene Baker of Wellsville; one uncle, John (Butch) Baker of Wellsville; two nieces, Vanessa and Sarah Lawn of North Carolina; one nephew, Darren Lawn of North Carolina; mother and father -in-law, William and Roberta Shreeves Maruca of Newell; one sister-in-law Kacey (Nathan) Ring of Newell; one brother-in-law, Adam (Candis Sarver) Maruca and their daughter Brooklyn of Steubenville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Kerr-Pastore-Weber Funeral Home in Salineville, with Pastor Brian Robinson officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
