In county Municipal Court on Tuesday, a California man was placed on $10,000 bond for five different charges.
James Leon, 52, Watsonville, Calif., pleaded not guilty to failure to comply, OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, marked lanes and lighted lights required.
Joseph Urgitus, 24, county jail, waived extradition on a charge of fugitive from justice.
Lucas Ludwig, 24, Depot Road, Salem, pleaded not guilty to OVI third offense, driving under suspension and speeding; pretrial Tuesday.
Nicholas Guy, 30, West State Street, Columbiana, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail, was fined $875 and had his driver's license suspended for one year for OVI second offense.
Douglas Strother, 40, Sebring, was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail, was fined $625 and had his driver's license suspended for one year for OVI second offense and reckless operation. Charges of speeding and broken windshield against Strother were dismissed.
Lisa Haupt, 19, North Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to OVI second offense and lane violations; pretrial Oct. 19.
Don Talbert, 38, Sugar Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, was fined $1,175 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense, hit-skip, failure to reinstate license and assured clear distance ahead.
Glenn Bowman II, 53, Alliance, was sentenced to 90 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and speeding; review hearing Jan. 12.
James Davis, 45, Pine Hollow Road, Elkton, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and speeding; review hearing Jan. 12.
Dino Suriano Jr., 30, Wintersville, was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail, was fined $250 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for reckless operation, amended from OVI first offense; driving under suspension and speeding.
Tatisha Houshour, 18, East Third Street, Salem, was sentenced to four days in the county jail and was fined $150 for theft. Houshour took her mother's bank card and made an unauthorized withdrawal.
Tarry Pidgeon, 41, West Calla Road, Salem, pleaded not guilty to assault; pretrial Oct. 19. Pidgeon is accused of grabbing a man by the throat at B.B. Rooner's, Salem, shoving him several feet into a wall, putting pressure on his neck and telling him he was not wanted there and to never return.
Shaun Clark, 30, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence; pretrial Sept. 8. Clark is accused of choking his live-in girlfriend, resulting her her seeking treatment at a hospital.
A charge of possession of drugs against Glenn Bowman II, 53, Alliance, was dismissed without prejudice.
Ryan Powell, 25, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial Oct. 6.
Robert Spaulding, 18, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $200 for underage consumption.
Shane Barnes, 18, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, pleaded not guilty to underage consumption; pretrial Oct. 8.
Richard Patterson, 55, Houston Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $80 for driving without a valid license and failure to control.
James Gibb, 41, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $75 for unsafe vehicle, amended from assured clear distance ahead.
Vickie Fowler, 49, Peace Valley Road, Rogers, was fined $75 for speeding.
Johnna Sherill, 45, Lisbon Street, Columbiana, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.
Jason Barnes, 35, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension; pretrial Oct. 27.
Wade Cain, 38, Cunningham Road, Salem, was fined $25 for assured clear distance ahead.
Michael Armstrong, 31, East Martin Street, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to use of unauthorized plate and failure to display valid sticker; pretrial Tuesday.
Samuel Taylor, 23, East Fifth Street, Salem pleaded not guilty to use of unauthorized plate; pretrial Oct. 16.
Kristopher Koons, 31, Alliance, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and speeding.
Jerry Malone II, West Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $100 for receiving stolen property. Malone sold a modified drill press that had been reported stolen to an Alliance pawn broker for $35.
Jill Gilbert, 33, Y&O Road, East Liverpool, pleaded not guilty to theft; pretrial Oct. 5. Gilbert is accused of taking a 24-pack of beer from a Wellsville-area business after her credit card was rejected.
Christopher Juillerat, 20, West Pershing Street, Salem, pleaded not guilty to permitting underage consumption and disorderly conduct; pretrial Thursday.
