WELLSVILLE - The Columbiana County Red Cross in conjunction with the Alleghenies Blood Region Services will be holding a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Wellsville First Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 831 Main St., 330-532-1587. This is also a double reds drive. Wendy's of Calcutta will be donating chili and Pizza Hut of Wellsville will be donating pizza. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Columbiana County Red Cross will hold the following health and safety classes for the first half of September at the East Liverpool office, Kent State University, Room 8: CPR at 6 p.m. Tuesday and First Aid at 6 p.m. Wednesday; at the Salem office, 230 N. EAST LIVERPOOL - Workforce Development, Kent State University East Liverpool has scheduled Certified Quality Engineer, which is a Test Preparation Class. The minimum requirements for admittance include eight or more years of on-the-job experience in one or more areas of the CQE Body of Knowledge. Call 330-382-7545 for additional information.

Part of the eight year experience requirement can be waived with appropriate education and/or employment history if it relates to the body of knowledge and degree level. Each candidate is required to pass a written examination to demonstrate competency.
