Columbiana County Sheriff for 8-13
Kevin Anstino, Bayard Road, Minerva, reported a Binsley aerator was stolen from his property a year ago. He discovered it at a local salvage yard, and the salvage operator said he just purchased it at the Rogers Sale.
Jeff Chambers reported Monday someone he knows came into his carry-out store on state Route 45, Wellsville, and Chambers told the man he still owed him $49 from two years ago. The man refused to pay and then threatened to shoot Chambers as he left. Chambers did not want anything done other than a report be on file.
Dean Miller, Lake Street, Beloit, reported having problems with a neighbor and on Monday the neighbor pulled in behind him at the Stagecoach Inn in North Georgetown and told some of the people in the lot to watch out for Miller.
Jill of Appalachian Trailer Sales, state Route 9, Salem, reported Tuesday two winches worth $660 were missing from the business.
Deputies responded to a possible assault at the home of Darlene Fulcomer, Cusick Road, West Point, at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Fulcomer reported no assault occurred, but her teenage daughter had broken an outdoor glass table after she told her friends to go home.
Deputies responded to a loud music complaint at the outside basketball court at Beaver Local High School at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday. The young people who had gathered left, and the deputy intended to speak with school officials about whether they allow the parking lot to be used as a place for young people to hang out.
Brandi Stewart, Rose Drive Apartments, Lisbon, called for a deputy at 6 a.m. Sunday when her husband showed up after having been drinking and knocked her to the ground. He left prior to the deputy's arrival, and Stewart didn't wish to pursue charges.
A third party called to report a domestic dispute at a home on state Route 45, Lisbon, at 2:24 p.m. Tueday. The woman who lives there said she and her boyfriend had been arguing, but no threats or assaults occurred.
James Davis, Taylor Road, Negley, reported Tuesday his home was entered and several guns were stolen.
Kay Johnson reported Tuesday a home she is in the process of moving into on state Route 644, Kensington, was broken into and her pain medication was stolen.
