An East Liverpool woman who entered two residences to commit criminal offenses was ordered to prison for five years after pleading guilty to two counts of burglary.
Vickie Anderson, 41, of 1176 Penn Ave., appeared in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on Monday before Judge David Tobin, who gave her credit for 88 days served at the county jail. She also received credit for 261 days served against a one-year prison term he issued for felony escape after her probation for that case was terminated for violations.
All the prison terms were ordered served at the same time, for a total of five years minus the credit.
Court documents said one of the burglary charges, a second-degree felony, came from an indictment. The second burglary charge, a third-degree felony, came through prosecutor's information.
The indictment said Anderson entered a residence on West Fifth Street in East Liverpool on April 23 while the homeowner was asleep. She also trespassed in a residence on West Fourth Street in East Liverpool the same day, the prosecutor's information document said.
The escape charge came after she failed to report to her parole officer in 2006 while on parole for a previous robbery charge from 2003.
