At 3:56 p.m., a salesman with the Iwoa Steak Company was at a parking lot along Wilbert Avenue selling steaks. He was told by officers he needed a city permit to conduct business.
July 2
At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to a call along Alton Street involving a man and a woman yelling at each other. When officers arrived, the two were hugging and the male said he was arguing with someone over the phone. The couple was advised to go inside the apartment and keep the yelling down.
At 10:35 a.m., officers responded to a child custody dispute at a Heights Manor apartment along Shadylane Drive. Officers got a copy of a court order, went to the apartment and had the male inside give the child to the grandmother.
July 3
At 12:09 a.m., officers arrested Robert S. McCauley II, 21, after a report of several people drinking in the parking lot of a Riley Avenue apartment complex. When asked for identification, McCauley allegedly told officers he had none and then misspelled his last name and gave an incorrect social security number, according to the report. He was charged with intoxication.
At 7:30 a.m., officers arrested Robert C. Jackson Jr., 29, after a female living along Morton Street called to say she wanted Jackson out the home. Jackson reportedly told officers he would leave as long as he could take his belongings. At 8:12 a.m, officers returned and Jackson was reportedly walking along Morton Street and officers detected a mild odor of alcohol, according to the report. He was arrested for intoxication and obstructing official business.
At 9:26 a.m., a resident on Maine Boulevard reported a male staying at the residence took her vehicle and her purse. She was told to see the law director about filing charges.
At 12:59 p.m., a resident along Wilbert Avenue reported the theft of a Nintendo game system.
