FLORENCE, Ky. - Marilyn Mackall, a former Georgetown, Pa., resident, died, June 11, 2009, at Florence Park Care Center, Florence, Ky.
She was born Oct. 9, 1929, in Chester, a daughter of Faye and Edward Huffman.
She was employed by the National Church Supply Company in Chester for over 45 years, and served as a Board Member and Representative of the Company's Employee Credit Union. She belonged to the United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Pa., which was her home for over 50 years until she moved to Burlington, Ky., in 2002.
Survivors include her daughter Amy Leigh (Richard) of Burlington Ky.; grandson Tyler Picklesimer of Edgewood, Ky.; and granddaughter Harmony Myres (David) of Hebron, Ky. She is also survived by sisters Jean Thornberry, Chester, Ruth Hill, Glendale Ariz., Beatrice Polchies, New Brunswick, Canada; and many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, her former husband and friend Glenn Mackall, brothers Richard, Fillmore, Charles and Ralph and a sister Kathryn Murray preceded her in death.
A private service was held for the family.
The body will be cremated, and local services will be held later this summer in Georgetown, Pa. Her wishes were to scatter her ashes in Hawaii, Florida and San Francisco or anyplace anyone wanted to take her.
Along with traveling she loved children and dogs, and the Pittsburgh Steelers! She had a beautiful singing voice and would sing and dance any time the opportunity presented its self.
