CHESTER - Charges are pending for a man who crashed into the Chester Car Wash and then wrecked in front of 7-Eleven early Sunday morning.

Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the call at 3:11 a.m. and pursued the driver, Marcus J. McLain of Pennsylvania Avenue in East Liverpool, on Church Alley.

According to Sheriff Mike White, upon turning out of Church Alley onto Carolina Avenue, McLain wrecked into the Chester Car Wash, causing damage to the inside wall.

McLain then traveled south on Carolina until he wrecked the vehicle in front of 7-Eleven, White said.

White stated that McLain was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital and his vehicle was towed, but McLain left the hospital before receiving treatment.
