Columbiana County Municipal for 6-2
In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, a New Waterford man pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated assault.
Bond continued at $10,000 for Andy Spooner, 33, state Route 517, New Waterford; pretrial June 14. Spooner is accused of striking a man in the head about six times, knocking him to the ground and kicking him in the abdomen and torso about six times.
Kimberly Gull, 33, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, pleaded not guilty to assault. Bond was set at $5,000; pretrial June 30. Gull is accused of striking a child on the head.
William Strabala, 40, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, pleaded not guilty to two counts of domestic violence. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial July 13. Strabala is accused of grabbing and striking his stepson about the head and face and threatening to kill him as well as striking his wife about the head and face and throwing her against a tub.
A motion hearing was set for July 27 for Kerry Rouse, 33, West Main Street, East Palestine, on a second offense of OVI and a tail lights violation.
Tessalynn Fairburn, 20, South Washington Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had her driver's license suspended for six months on a first offense of OVI and a marked lanes violation; review hearing Oct. 27.
Joshua Andrews, 18, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded not guilty to criminal damaging. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial June 8. Andrews is accused of knowingly using his car to strike a woman's car twice following a confrontation with her.
Nathan Oldaker, 27, Cedar Street, was fined $100 on a charge of theft. Oldaker took a case of beer from Campbell's Grocery Store.
Geoffrey Johnson, 22, Gromley Road, Salem, was fined $100 on a charge of theft. Johnson took $13 worth of fishing supplies from Wal-Mart in Salem.
Melissa Clutter, 26, Maple Road, Salineville, pleaded not guilty to theft. Bond was set at $1,000; pretrial June 4. Clutter is accused of taking a fifth of Jack Daniel's Whiskey from B+K Beverage, Salineville.
Samuel Landsberger, 21, Padgett Road, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to failure to comply and improper passing; pretrial July 21.
George Billie, 70, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, was fined $150 on a charge of no operator's license.
Rikki Virden, 28, Roosevelt, N.Y., pleaded not guilty to driving under suspension and a marked lanes violation; pretrial July 30.
A probation violation hearing was set for July 2 for Travis Clarkson, 21, West Perry Street, Salem, on a charge of use of unauthorized plate.
Louis Markovich Jr., 59, Countryside Road, Salem, was fined $75 on a charge of traffic control devices, amended from stopped school bus.
Carol Price, 58, Massillon, was assessed costs only on a charge of speeding.
Johnny Paroda, East Eighth Street, East Liverpool, pleaded not guilty to failure to confine dogs; court trial July 27.
