Christina McGuire, Grant Road, Lisbon, reported her live-in partner, Ralph Libert, came into their daughter's room and hit her in the side of the head with his open palm, also calling her various names. Libert was charged with domestic violence.
A deputy was called to Wick Street, Salineville, at 11 a.m. May 20 to stand by while an ambulance was summoned to transport a resident to a local hospital.
A deputy was called to the home of Lisa Bentfield, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, at 12:40 a.m Tuesday because of a situation involving her daughter. While the deputy was there, Bentfield also reported someone had let her horses out, broke the glass out of her vehicle, left the gas cap off and left a vehicle door open. The deputies returned in the morning to advise Bentfield something needs to be done about keeping her horses and other animals secure because if it continues she could be charged with letting her animals run loose. Bentfield advised someone must have opened the gate in regard to the incident.
A Rogers-area woman called Tuesday to report her juvenile daughter has been attending underage parties in Liverpool Township. She was advised to contact Liverpool Township police.
