St. Clair Township Police Reports for 5-10
Tammy S. Kent, 39, and Kevin Coughen, 42, both of Steubenville Pike, Hammondsville, were charged after an alleged shoplifting incident at WalMart Thursday afternoon. According to reports, a loss prevention officer witnessed Kent conceal three items of clothing in her purse and walk out without paying, while Coughen reportedly followed her and watched her conceal the items, serving as her "lookout." Kent was charged with petty theft, while Coughen was charged with complicity to theft and obstructing official business, the result of him allegedly refusing to give police officers his Social Security number or to sign the fingerprint card.
Christina L. Williams, 23, Louisiana Avenue, Chester, was charged with theft and possession of criminal tools Thursday after an incident at WalMart. Police reported Williams was seen by loss prevention officers selecting swim wear and walking to another department, where she tore off the price tags and concealed the items in her empty purse. According to reports, she had her 3-year-old son with her at the time.
