NEWELL - The Newell United Methodist Church Trustees will be having a spaghetti dinner from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the fellowship hall. The dinner consists of spaghetti with meatballs or meatsauce, salad, Italian bread, desserts and coffee or tea. Price for adults is $6.50 and children under 12 is $3.

HANOVERTON - The Hanoverton Salvation Army will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Ruritan Hall on 2nd Street.

HANOVERTON - The Guilford Lake Ruritan Club is staging a lake clean up day at 9 a.m. Saturday. This clean-up is coordinated with the state park Rangers. Any organization or individuals looking for community service time or volunteers wishing to assist are welcome. A sign up sheet and vouchers will be available. Trash bags, gloves and lunch provided. GLENMOOR - Glenmoor American Legion Post 736 will have a last breakfast before the summer break on Sunday. Breakfast will resume in September.

CHESTER - The Oak Glen High School Class of 1989 will be celebrating their 20th reunion at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 1 at the VFW in Chester. Additional weekend activities are being planned.

NEWELL - Clay Festival will be held June 2 through June 6. Advance ride tickets are $10 each and are available through June 1. Venders needed, call Linda at 304-387-0275 to reserve a spot.

CALCUTTA - The Calcutta Lions Clubs still has some open dates for yard sales at the Lions Pavilion at Calcutta School. Reservations can be made by calling Linda at 330-385-4405.

EAST LIVERPOOL - Steps to Recovery meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. every Saturday evening at the Salvation Army Building across from Kent State on 4th Street. Come join us. It will be a lead meeting.

Freedom Support Recovery meeting is held at 6:30 p.m. every Monday night in the Fellowship Hall at House of Prayer located behind McKinney's Furniture.

Women of Courage Recovery meeting is held at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday evening in the upstairs of the Destiny House Church on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.

Men of Faith Recovery meeting is held at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday evening in the downstairs of the Destiny House Church on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.
