Two Salem men were charged with theft Saturday night after an incident at Save-A-Lot. The men's identities were not available.

Officers were called to a Commerce Street home at 1:30 a.m. Thursday to remove a man who was causing a disturbance. He left without incident and was told not to return.

Responding to an alarm at Joe's Bar on Main Street, officers found the building secure and attempts to locate a keyholder were unsuccessful.

Sarah Cook, 20, New Waterford, was charged Wednesday morning with disorderly conduct after Chief Joe Scarabino said he attempted to discuss with her an altercation with her boyfriend and she kept using profanity and being beligerent. She was transported to the county jail.
