Hancock County Magistrate Court for 3-7

The following cases were disposed of in Hancock County magistrate court:

Harold Midcap III, of Boyce Avenue in Wellsville - charged with DUI second offense, sentenced to six months in jail converted to 180 days of home confinement with work release, to run concurrent with other case, fined $1000 plus $414.53 in court costs; also charged with failure to stop and fleeing on foot, both cases dismissed; also charged with driving while license suspended for DUI, sentenced to six months in jail converted to 180 days of home confinement with work release, to run concurrent with other case, fined $250 plus $159.53 in cout costs plus $2.50 per day home confinement fee.

Matthew McKindley of state Route 168 in Georgetown, Penn. - charged with DUI, sentenced to six days in jail with credit for 24 hours of jail time, remainder converted to 40 hours of community service, fined $300 plus $229.53 in court costs.

Freeman Payton of Market Street in East Liverpool - charged with violation of protective order, sentenced to nine months in jail, sentence suspended and Payton was placed on nine months of unsupervised probation; fined $250 plus $159.53 in court costs.

Ryan Stansbury of Miller Road in Leetonia, Ohio - charged with DUI second offense, sentenced to six months in jail converted to 180 days of home confinement with work release, assessed court costs of $159.53 plus $2.50 per day home confinement fee.

Nicholas Fazekas of Rocksford Church Road in Dennison, Ohio - charged with failure to obtain W. Va. registration, fined $200 plus $184.53 in court costs and $25 capias fee.

Rachel Culler of Hardy Street in Weirton - charged with false pretenses, fined $100 plus $159.53 in court costs.

Loretta Groch of Heaslett Road in Weirton - charged with driving while license suspended third offense, sentenced to 45 days in jail converted to 45 days of home confinement, fined $150 plus $159.53 in court costs.

Frank Pope of Abbie Lane in New Cumberland - charged with trespassing, case dismissed.

Chris Price of Bell School Road in East Liverpool - charged with DUI, sentenced to six days in jail with credit for 24 hours in jail, remainder converted to 40 hours of community service, fined $250 plus $289.53.

Heather Dray of Steuben Street in Mingo Junction, Ohio - charged with DUI, sentenced to five days in jail converted to 40 hours of community service, fined $250 plus $264.53 in court costs.

Mark Miller of Sweetbriar Street in Pittsburgh - charged with possession of a controlled substance, case dismissed.

Chelsee R. Blake of Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton - charged with battery, sentenced to 30 days in jail, sentence suspended and Blake was placed on six months of unsupervised probation, assessed $159.53 in court costs plus $5 per month probation fee.

Joseph Huska of Highland Avenue in New Cumberland - charged with DUI second offense, sentenced to six months in jail converted to 180 days of home confinement, fined $500 plus $314.53 in court costs.

Jacob William Martin of Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton - charged with domestic battery, case dismissed; also charged with assault, fined $300 plus $205.07 in court costs; also charged with disorderly conduct, fined $200 plus $159.53 in court costs.

Zachar James Sole of Diana Court in Weirton - charged with petit larceny, fined $300 plus $159.53 in court costs.
