EAST LIVERPOOL Vivian Ellen Nutter, 77, of Anderson Boulevard, died at 12:28 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at the Medical Center of Beaver following a lengthy illness.

Born Oct. 20, 1932, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Carter "Nip" and Mary Ellen Tucker, she was a lifetime area resident.

A waitress at one time at the former Naples Restaurant, she was a member of the American Legion Post No. 374 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Melvin "Butch" Brown, Jr., of Midland, Pa. and his fiancee Kathy Thompson.

Surviving are three sisters, Marjorie Burson and her husband, Robert, of East Liverpool, Shirley Buchheit and her husband, James, of Hollywood, Fla., and Linda Scott and her husband, Duane "Scotty," of West Point, Ohio.

Also surviving are two brothers, William Tucker and his wife, Nellie, of West Point, and Richard Tucker and his wife, Robbi, of West Point.

There are seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Sayer; a son, Terry L. Brown; and a sister, Jean Hickman.

The Rev. Charles Ready is to conduct services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at the Dawson Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the funeral, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
