WELLSVILLE Jeffrey Phillip Buchheit, 56, of Willow Drive died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2008 at the Medical Center in Beaver following a brief illness.

Born June 21, 1952, a son of the late Robert F. Buchheit and Margaret H. "Peg" Buchheit, he retired from Allegheny Ludlum in Midland. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by a daughter, Amy Louise Buchheit of Negley and a son, Jeffrey Francis Buchheit and his wife, Becky, of East Liverpool.

He will be sadly missed by his three loving grandchildren, Jocelyn, Caleb and Lucas Buchheit.

Three brothers survive, Robert J. Buchheit, and his wife Christine, of Negley, Gregory A. Buchheit, and his wife Beverly, of Wellsville and Michael F. Buchheit of Wellsville.

Other survivors include seven nieces and nephews as well as a special friend, Mary Wilkinson of Negley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Lou Buchheit.

Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center.
