EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool High School Choir Boosters will be holding a rigatoni dinner and auction at North Elementary School.

The event is scheduled for Monday and dinner will be served from 4-6 p.m. and the auction will begin at 6 p.m. sharp, according to event coordinator Lisa Ensinger.

Harry Winters will preside as the cook for the evening and Baer Auction Service will run the sale.

Some special highlights of the auction will include East Liverpool Mayor Jim Swoger's homemade cakes, a Steelers bracelet from Kay Jewelers, autographs and memorabilia from the Steelers, Browns and Indians.

Other items up for auction include overnight stays in Pittsburgh and the local area, handmade crafts, cruises, limousine rides, concert tickets, gift baskets, golf, pottery, two guitars, gift certificates and much more.

Deserts for the evening donated by L&B Donuts, Candy Craft and Bruster's Ice Cream will be sold separately.

Some of those who purchase a desert will win a silver camelion ring from Locke Jewelers or assorted jewelry from Avon given by Joann Hilliard.

Dinner tickets are $6 each and can be purchased at the high school or at the door on Monday. Take-outs are available.

All proceeds from the event will help the choir purchase new show choir and Renaissance costumes and music.

Special help for the dinner came from Wendy's Restaurant, Ponderosa, Papa John's Pizza and many other local businesses.
