Two women tasered after fight, break-in
Review Staff ReportsCALCUTTA - Two women were tasered and arrested after an altercation on South St. early Tuesday morning.
Wanda Gregory, 44, East Liverpool, and Lashanda Gregory, 21, Gorham, ME, were charged with disorderly conduct after they reportedly refused to listen to commands from police to stop fighting. Wanda was also arrested for vandalism, a fifth degree felony.
Officers arrived at the scene after the homeowner, Lawrence Stiteler called police from a neighbor's home to report a break-in by Wanda.
According to reports, Wanda moved out of the residence, but returned later and kept knocking on the door since Stiteler changed the locks.
The report states Wanda climbed on the porch roof, broke a bedroom window, returned to the porch and broke a front door window with a claw hammer.
Wanda was able to enter the home by pushing in a door and then knocking in a sliding glass door at the rear of the house, the police report stated.
When officers arrived on scene, they found both women fighting with one another.
Wanda was taken to the Columbiana County Jail.
At East Liverpool Municipal Court Tuesday, Wanda had her bond set at $20,000. Her arraignment is set for October 7 at 9 a.m. The judge ordered Wanda to have no contact with Stiteler and his residence within a 100 yards.
Lashanda was taken home by an officer after she was charged. She failed to appear for her court date on Tuesday and a bench warrant was issued for arrest. Lashanda's bond was set at $5,000.
