Mary Beaver Cline, 95
NEWELL - Mary Beaver Cline, 95, passed away July 22 after a lingering illness. She was born on Nov. 6, 1912, in Arroyo, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lewis and Ollie Beaver.
Mary was a member of the Nessley Chapel Church; a life long resident of the area, she worked for 29 years at the Homer Laughlin China Co.; a member of the IBOP and a member of the former Rebecca Lodge of Newell.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Cline, and a daughter, Brenda Cline Avent; two brothers, Bud and Bob Beaver; and three sisters, Freda Arnott, Edith Barber and Hilda Moore-Heim.
She is survived by a son, Roger Cline and wife, Brenda, of Kingwood, Texas; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008. The Rev. Ethel Dunaway will officiate. Interment will follow in the Columbiana County Memorial Park.
