Born Oct. 4, 1926, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Richard Sole and Laura Mae Wright Wooley, she was a lifetime resident and was employed for 11 years at the Homer Laughlin China Co. and an additional 11 years at the East Liverpool Extended Care Center.
She was a member of Senior Link.
Her husband, Harold E. Headley, who she married on Aug. 12, 1957, died June 27, 1977.
There are two sons: Dan R. Stoffel and his wife Eva, of Leetonia and Michael W. Stoffel and his wife Pat, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., along with a stepdaughter Mrs. Rebecca Carpenter and her husband Paul, of California.
Other survivors include a brother; Harry Thomas Wooley and his wife Teresa, of Elmora, Pa., two sisters, Mrs. Alberta Froehlich and her husband Paul, of Carson City, Nev., and Mrs. Alice Higgins and her husband Charles, of Wellsville.
There are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three dear friends, Helen Ice, Jean Ramsey and Aliene Kasoon, all of East Liverpool, and all her friends at Fawcett Apartments. She also appreciated her relationship with the Comfort Keepers.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Carson and Barbara Wooley and five brothers, Irwin, Frank and Bill Wooley and Jacob and Phillip Sole.
Friends may call Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery followed by a reception at the Dawson Family Center.
