Mary Lou “Moo” Carson, 64

Born Nov. 21, 1943, in New Cumberland, a daughter of the late Frank and Edith Mann Beaumont, she was a lifetime area resident.
She had been director of Nursing at the former Ross Nursing Home and was later employed at Blossom Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Salem.
A 1961 graduate of Wellsville High School and a 1964 graduate of the nursing program at City Hospital, she was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Wellsville.
Her husband, Gary Carson Sr., whom she married Dec. 31, 1969, survives at home.
Also surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Virden, and a son, Gary Carson Jr., both of East Liverpool.
There are two granddaughters, Emma Virden and Hannah Virden.
She is also survived by a sister, George Ann Frischkorn and her husband, Jason, of Wellsville, and a brother, David Beaumont and his wife, Shirley, of Kent, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Smith and Beatrice Pryor; an adopted sister, Sandy Hunley; and two brothers, Earl Beaumont and Frank Beaumont, Jr.
The Rev. Robert Phillips of Central United Methodist Church is to conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
