WELLSVILLE - Henry Stephen Carr, “Snowball,” 56, of Clark Avenue, Wellsville, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Beaver Medical Center, after a lingering illness.

He was born Sept. 5, 1951, in East Liverpool, a son of the late William and Dyola Jean (Streets) Carr.

Snowball was a 1971 graduate of Wellsville High School, worked as a truck driver, and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing, with his best pal and canine companion, Sam.

Besides his parents, Snowball was preceded in death by a granddaughter, BreAnne Carr and a brother, Myron.

Survivors include one brother, Timothy Carr and his wife Pam, of Lisbon; one daughter, Beth (Carr) Ellison, of Charleston, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Harley and AJ Carr, also of Charleston; two nieces, Amy and Jenna; Aunt Jolleen Cattrell; and two great nieces, Brooke and Kelsie, and again, let us not forget, his best pal and canine companion, Sam.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St., Wellsville.

Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
