EAST LIVERPOOL – Amanda Marie DeSarro, 21, of Hoffman Court, East Liverpool, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the scene of an automobile accident in Calcutta.

Born in East Liverpool on June 11, 1986, a daughter of Beverly and Scott DeSarro of East Liverpool, she was a lifetime area resident.

A member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 2004, she had attended Kent State University East Liverpool campus. She was graduated from the Phlebotomy Training Center of Pittsburgh in December 2007.

She had attended Beechwood Free Methodist Church and was employed at Dunham’s Sporting Goods in Calcutta.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Hali DeSarro, and a brother, Chance DeSarro, both at home.

Also surviving are a maternal grandmother, Margaret Yost Brewer, paternal grandparents, William and Karen DeSarro, and a paternal great-grandfather, Everett Anderson, all of East Liverpool. Amanda was preceded by her maternal grandfather, William E. Brewer, as well as her first cousin, Paige Marie DeSarro and her great-grandparents, Helen Anderson, John and Eileen DeSarro, Harley and Violet Brewer, and Harold and Sadie Yost.

She is survived by four aunts: Jane Parsons and her husband, Kris; Kimberly Koric and her husband Calvin; Kelly DeSarro; and Holly Walls.

Two uncles surviving are William H. Brewer and his wife, Barbara, and Todd DeSarro as well as her cousins Jeremy Brewer, Brandi Brewer, Kayla Smith, Cody Parsons, Sidney Parsons, Alyssa DeSarro and Louie Ward. Also special to her was her second cousin, Tyler.

Friends and family may call at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday, where the family will be present from 2 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Norm Eckert of the church officiating. Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
