Basketball camp to be at United

HANOVERTON — The Lady Eagle Basketball Camp will be June 9-13 at United High School.

The camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon for 4-6 graders and from 1-5 p.m. for 7-12 graders.

Cost of $50, with a $20 nonrefundable deposit due by June 2.

Checks can be made payable to United Local Athletic Department and can be mailed to Roger Zeigler at 1915 Fairview Court, Salem, Ohio 44460.

YMCA sign ups for men’s league

EAST LIVERPOOL — The East Liverpool YMCA is currently accepting rosters for the 2008 Men’s Summer Basketball League for ages 18 and over.

Each team is guaranteed 10 games including playoffs and deadline to turn in a roster is June 4.

Free membership to the YMCA is provided to all players for the duration of the league.

Rosters are limited to 10 players per team.
