CALCUTTA — The Calcutta Area Chamber of Commerce is putting together the final pieces to the Ohio State vs Michigan tailgate party at the East Liverpool Motor Lodge. Lori Kline, chamber director, said her organization will bring the atmosphere of gameday to the area. Outdoor games, barbeque, competitions, trivia and auctions will make up the festivities on Saturday. “We tried to get the true tailgating feeling,” Kline said. “Everyone is invited to attend.” The event will begin four hours before the Ohio State Buckeyes kick-off which means people can enjoy the fanfare at 8 a.m. Kickoff for the OSU home game against the rivaled Wolverines is scheduled for noon. Kline said people can come anytime, though, as food and trivia prizes will be available all day. Competition in the cornhole and door knob tossing contest begins at 9 a.m. while the coaches look-a-like contest will start at 11 a.m.
