LISBON - Robert Morehead, Health Commisioner, announces that the Columbiana County Health Department will sponsor a countrywide Pediatric Hearing and Speech Screening Clinic. The clinic will be held on May 2, 2008, at the Columbiana County Health Department, 7360 State Route 45, Lisbon, Ohio. The clinic will be staffed by an audiologist, speech pathologist, and an otolaryngologist. Any child that is having a suspected hearing difficulty or problems speaking clearly may be seen at this clinic. Any child from birth to age 21 years may be referred to the clinic by a doctor, nurse, parent, teacher, or grandparent. To refer a child, call the Columbiana Health Department and schedule an appointment (330)424-0272. There is no charge for an examination at this clinic.
